Taraneh Javanbakht
Taraneh Javanbakht was born in Tehran (Iran) in may 1974. she got her B.S. degree in chemistry in Tehran in June 1996 and left for Paris in 1997 in order to complete her studies. There, she got her M.S.c and doctorate at Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris. Tarane now resides in Canada, Montreal. Her works have been published in various literary journals and magazines in Iran. They contain lyric and modern poems. Click HERE to read some of her work.

Khaneh Ma - These Places We Call Home
A film by Anna Fahr, and Produced by Flora Fahr.
"The purpose of this film is to introduce the people of Iran to those who have little knowledge or understanding of what Iranian culture is really about. From the perspective of a Canadian-Iranian who has spent most of her life in Canada, this personal documentary will examine aspects of Iranian culture by focusing on three generations living both in Iran and abroad."

Ottawa Iranian Festival
