Parking tips for attending performances at the Alumni Auditorium (Theatre) of the University of Ottawa.

We recommend that you do not park at parking meters on the campus streets as the campus police is very vigilant and regularly tickets cars parked at expired meters. For peace of mind, we recommend that you use the parking lot adjacent to the Auditorium and pay the maximum fee for the night.

From Cumberland, make a right turn into University private. Drive straight into the parking lot (the parking lot is the one shown on the map south of the Simard building and north of the Residential Complex, along the street called University mall). You will need to purchase a parking ticket. The best way is to use your credit card. Insert it in the machine which is next to the hotdog kiosk and press the half-hour key option repeatedly until it displays “2300 hours”. You will be charged the maximum charge which is inexpensive at under $10. Place the printed ticket on your dashboard, lock your car and join us at the hall.
